About Us

Our
Story
The Recidivism Elimination Advocacy Project was created on April 24, 2023 when our founder and CEO decided to embark on a journey to help incarcerated individuals and their families navigate the prison system. 82% of former inmates are rearrested within 10 years of their release. This statistic is extremely sad and we decided to do something about it. R.E.A.P. was born out of compassion and understanding for those individuals who had fallen victim to recidivism (reoffending). R.E.A.P. became an idea, then a concept, and finally a reality. We saw a need and worked tirelessly to address that need. Our mission is to empower families so that they can advocate for their loved ones. Our goal is to educate others about the necessity of our cause and to help those in need.
